Spanning theater design to the construction of tiny houses and mobile art spaces, we have the experience and expertise solve all your custom design and fabrication needs for theater and performance,, public art and gallery installations.  Based in the NY Hudson Valley, we specialize in all areas of production including scenic, lighting, audio and projections for projects in the NY metro area and beyond.  
Design
With more than 20 years in the industry, Szlasa has designed for leading musicians, choreographers, theater makers, visual artists and arts institutions.  Venues include BAM, Chicago MCA, Sydney Opera House, Harare International Festival Zimbabwe and hundreds of others worldwide.
Build
David Szlasa operates a construction facility to serve civic and cultural organizations, handling all aspects of production from creative content to build and installation in compliance with the high level of care and oversight required in fine arts institutions.  
Projections
From large-scale ongoing public video projects and gallery pieces to cued theatrical performances and music concerts, we build creative content and original imagery, touch sensitive cuing systems and install all levels of hardware from control to image surface.  
Spaces
Along with our project work, we offer design/ build, consulting and fundraising support for permanent lighting, audio, projection and staging solutions for performing arts facilities, galleries and unique spaces for creative engagement.  
Project Management
For projects on tour or with teams working remotely, we offer project management services to keep things moving forward on schedule and on budget.
